7 Universal Laws Explained
Everything in this Universe boils down to energy, frequencies, and vibrations. There are 7 Universal Laws explained here that are present within this Universe; addressing how energy, frequency, and vibrations work to form thoughts and things.
These laws, which are as real as the law of physics, dictate how to create the life we want.
In order to harness the power necessary to control your life, you must understand where this power is, how to call upon it and why you need to obey the laws surrounding it’s existence. If you break one of ‘mans laws’, like…the Law of Speeding, you’ll get a ticket! Now, you may not get a ticket the first time you exceed the speed limit but odds are,…you will.
In other words, when one obeys the laws set forth, the benefits for obeying the laws are yours,…conversely, if you ignore the laws set forth the penalties are yours as well. The same is true with respect to obeying the Universal Laws. To understand how to abide by these laws, the 7 universal laws explained in a certain way will help very much!
What are the 7 Universal Laws
Depending on your area of interest or study, there are many Universal Laws; some resources list over 100!
I’ve studied and read several books by authors that are worth your time to read; a few of them are:
- Rhonda Byrne – The Secret
- Walter Wattles – The Science of Getting Rich
- James Allen – As A Man Thinketh
- Charles F. Haanel – The Master Key System
- Napoleon Hill – Think and Grow Rich
- Earl Nightingale – Lead The Field
All of these authors make reference to one or more of the Universal Laws; Bob Proctor continually refers to 7 Universal Laws. In addition, he’s been teaching this material for the last 50 plus years with no evidence of slowing down! So,…he’s truly an authority on these 7 Universal Laws and also provides Personal Growth Coaching, Live Stream Events and Webinars, and other digital avenues of personal enrichment; a few of these programs are…
I’ve chosen to discuss these 7 Universal Laws as they relate to positive thinking and personal growth. So,… what are the 7 universal laws?
These Universal Laws (in no particular order) and a brief statement for each are…
- The Law of Vibration – everything vibrates, all things are in motion at all times.
- The Law of Cause and Effect – everything happens in your life for a reason, what you sow so shall you reap.
- The Law of Transmutation – you have the ability to change your life, you can accept or reject anything.
- The Law of Relativity – let go of judging events or people as good or bad, don’t compare yourself to others.
- The Law of Polarity – everything has an opposite, thoughts can be changed from bad to good instantly.
- The Law of Rhythm – everything in the Universe has rhythm, follow the natural flow of energy and harmony.
- The Law of Gender – everything needs time to grow, to balance the masculine and feminine energy within us.
As we go from post to post, we’ll do a ‘deep dive’ learning how to visualize the concept of each of these 7 Universal Laws by using sound as a bridge to the manifestation of your chosen desire; Universal Laws deal with energy, frequency and vibrations. Right now though, let’s understand these 7 Universal Laws well enough to use them to manifest our desires.
How to Use the 7 Universal Laws
These universal laws have been with us forever,…literally. Yesterday,…before you read this article, these laws were in place for all for you to use and understand; most people don’t know these laws exist. So,…it’s important to know how to use the 7 universal laws in order for your compliance to be rewarded.
Law of Vibration
The Law of Vibration says that nothing is ever at rest, everything is always in motion; everything is energy. Trees, plants, buildings, cars, our bodies are all energy moving at different rates of vibration. We are God’s highest form of creation, connected to the constant and powerful Universal Source.
We send out vibrations to that Source all day, every day; vibrations like love, fear, anger, joy and more.
Now, here’s what we should keep in mind: the energy and vibrations we send out always comes back to us, we attract what we send out; the Law of Attraction is a secondary Law of Vibration.
It’s essential that vibration be understood if we’re to be serious about creating an abundant, meaningful, and fulfilling life. Let’s see how vibration impacts some of our everyday experiences.
If you ask a person how they feel, and they say…“I don’t feel very well,” it’s because they’re in a negative vibration; if the person says, “I feel great!”, they’re in a positive vibration.
We should always be converting negative energy into positive energy. The next time you’re around a someone who’s complaining, change the subject; start talking to them about something that’s good about them. Give them a sincere compliment; something that is merited, not false praise. Slowly turn the conversation around to that and them know how much you admire how well they do it.
All of the sudden, their energy will change…just like that. When you learn how to do it for others, you’ll know how to do it for yourself.
One of the fastest ways to change your vibration, for example, is to connect with nature. Go for a walk in the woods, along the sea shore, listen to the birds and the sounds of mother nature; the vibration of nature is perfect. When you expose yourself to that vibration, it leaves you feeling good.
The more you become aware of this energy and the associated vibration, the more you’ll understand what’s going on inside and around you. For instance, places we go have their own vibration; some places make you feel good, some make you feel bad. When you feel good about a place, you’re in harmony with that place. When you feel bad about a place,…get out!; the energy is off.
Make it a point to start paying attention to the energy inside and around you and only go and do what you’re in harmony with.
When you’re doing what you love,…you’ll never have to work again; you’ll be spending your whole life in a harmonious vibration. Study this,…make every effort to understand that you’ll attract whatever you are in harmonious vibration with.
You don’t draw in what you want; you attract who you are.
Law of Cause and Effect
The Law of Cause and Effect states that whatever you send into the Universe comes back; action and re-action are equal and opposite.
There is no such thing as chance, everything in the universe happens for a reason according to the law. Every effect must have a cause; and in turn, that cause must have an effect; never-ending cycle of cause and effect.
If you want good things to happen to you in your life, cause good things to happen in other peoples lives. The effect will be,…good things will happen in your life; it will all come back to you, that’s how the law works.
With respect to this law, if you want to be successful in business, relationships, or whatever, you should be able to put forth the same effort (causes) that others have put forth and achieved success (effects). Following the Law of Cause and Effect and emulating the successful actions of others, will result in the same successes being achieved by you over a period of time. If this doesn’t happen, chances are you did something different than what they were doing…some vital piece of information was missing.
There is no such thing as “chance”. The Law of Cause and Effect is always present and always in operation; nothing ever happens outside of this law, and equally important nothing ever acts contrary to this law.
For every effect, there is always a corresponding cause preceding it…without exception.
Law of Transmutation
The definition of transmutation is…the action of changing or the state of being changed into another form.
The Law of Transmutation states that everything in the universe we can detect with our 5 senses,…see, hear, smell, taste, or touch,…together with our emotions, is the manifestation of energy in various levels of vibration. Energy is in a constant state of transmutation and can be neither created nor destroyed; energy (nonphysical level of life) is always moving into physical form.
As stated,…everything is energy in various levels of vibration; thoughts are energy. Any idea or image that is held in your mind and nourished with emotion, must move into physical form.
Transmutation of an idea or image in your mind that moves into physical form is…the creative process.
Law of Relativity
The Law of Relativity states that all things are related to each other; including the 7 Universal Laws described here.
Every law must be in harmony, agreement and correspond with each other. For example, all rates of vibration are either high or low, only by comparison with those above or below them;…all sizes are relative too.
Imagine 3 boxes labeled ‘A’, ‘B’, and ‘C’. ‘A’ is the smallest box, and ‘C’ is the largest. When you relate ‘B’ to ‘A’, ‘B’ looks big. However, when you relate ‘B’ to ‘C,’ ‘B’ looks small. The obvious truth is that ‘B’ is neither big nor small, ‘B’ just ‘IS.’ We make ‘B’ what it is by how we work with this law. Everything in life just ‘is’. We make a thing big or small, high or low, negative or positive by comparing it to something else.
Recognize that everyone does something better than you and, likewise, you do something better than every person you meet.
When you relate something you do that you are not proficient at, to something another person does that they have mastered, you will not look good. That is using the law against yourself. Instead, make a habit of using this law to your benefit—to heighten your self-esteem. You will then become aware of how special you are in the light of truth.
Law of Polarity
The Law of Polarity decrees everything in the universe has its opposite: hot—cold… good—bad…inside—outside. You have a right and left side to your body, a front and back. Every up has a down, and every down has an up.
The law of Polarity not only states that everything has an opposite … it is equal and opposite.
If it were 3 feet from the floor up on to the table, it would be 3 feet from the table down to the floor; it could not be any other way.
Step into your power by realizing and applying the Law of Polarity. Start using your mental faculty—perception—to see both sides of a person, situation or circumstance. You will be empowered and inspired.
Applying the Law of Polarity will help you move forward in the direction of your dreams because you will realize that everything in your life “just is” and you make it negative or positive by how you choose to think about the situation. It is your choices, not your circumstances, that will create the life you so desire.
Law of Rhythm
The Law of Rhythm embodies the truth that everything is moving to and fro, flowing in and out, swinging backward and forward. It shows us that there is always a reaction to every action.
This law governs the movement of the planets in their orbit and also manifests in the mineral and vegetable kingdoms.
It can be observed in the rising and setting of the sun and moon, ebb and flow of the tides, coming and going of the seasons, and in the rhythmic swing of consciousness and unconsciousness.
You are not going to feel good all of the time; no one does. If you did, you wouldn’t even know it. The low feelings are what permit you to enjoy the high feelings.
When you are in a downswing, know the swing will change, and things will get better. Good times are coming—choose to think of them.
Law of Gender
The Law of Gender is, in truth, the Creative Law. This Law decrees that everything in nature is both male and female. Both are required for life to exist. The Law of Gender manifests in the animal kingdom as sex.
It also manifests in the mineral and vegetable kingdoms.
Without the dual principle of male and female in all things, there could not be a difference of potential, a perpetuation of motion, nor regeneration. All new things merely result in the changing of something that was, into something else that now is—a caterpillar into a butterfly or a thought into physical reality.
Consciousness, or thought, is the masculine energy, whereas the life force that brings form to the thought in physical reality is the feminine energy. Together, one experiences both the masculine and feminine energy, which is known as the creative process.
The Law of Gender also decrees that all seeds (ideas are spiritual seeds) have a gestation or incubation period before they manifest. In other words, when you choose a goal or build the image in your mind, a definite period of time must elapse before that image manifests in physical results.
For anything to grow, however, it requires energy. Plants require solar energy, for example. Our thoughts and ideas thrive on the energy we give them. In fact, there is one way to shorten the incubation period needed for an idea to manifest into physical form — through concentration. The concentration of thought relative to an idea increases more energy on that idea, bringing it more quickly into manifestation.
